Charles Schlager is counsel to the firm.  Mr. Schlager, a prominently recognized negotiator has developed a substantial practice in public sector labor contract negotiations and disciplinary matters.  Mr. Schlager is distinguished in his litigation of grievances, employer unfair practices, and complex labor related matters.  He previously has represented over 190 police officers, firefighters and public-sector civilian employee unions and individual employees in contract negotiations, administrative litigation, disciplinary actions, pension issues and retaliation matters in over seventeen of the twenty-one counties in New Jersey.  He now practices labor and employment law on behalf of management.

Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Schlager spent several years as an auditor for an asset-based banking institution and six years in sales and marketing, including General Manager of a manufacturing facility in Ohio and International Sales Manager of a Fortune 500 company in Fort Lee, NJ.  Thereafter, he was a Director for the New Jersey Turnpike Authority where he was also a member of the Collective Bargaining Negotiations Committee. He earned his J.D. in 1992 from Widener Law School. Mr. Schlager is licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey (1993).
